XLIFF 1.1 및 1.2 는 다른 형식이며 XLIFF 2.0과 호환되지 않습니다.

번역 파일을 표준화하기 위해 만들어진 XML 기반 형식이지만, 결국 이 분야의 수많은 표준 중 하나입니다.

XML 현지화 교환 파일 형식 (XLIFF) 2.0 은 현재 이중 언어로만 지원됩니다.

Weblate supports XLIFF 2.0 as a single file format. Placeables handling is controlled by the xliff_placeables 파일 형식 매개변수:

Plain text — escape XML elements in the content (the historical default for existing XLIFF 2.0 components).
Placeables — preserve placeables and other XML elements (the default for new components). Tags then appear as placeholders in the editor.
